We cover the whole of the uk - from john o'groats to lands end, and we only use 30mm thick granite for the worktops (not 15mm backed with mdf as many of the larger chains tend to do). we can supply splash backs and upstands at 20mm thick and window sills either 20mm or 30mm.
We can offer two options with the installation service - we can do the cut & fit on site (1 day service) or we can template first then manufacture on our premises then install on a date that suits your requirements. With the 1 day cut & fit service all works are carried out outside so there is no mess in your home, with this service no deposit is required either - the balance is to be paid on completion once you are totally satisfied. If you would prefer the template first option then we will arrange with you a date convenient for one of our teams to call and template, once the templating has been done and signed off by you then we will manufacture and then install within 10 days, the fitting date will be arranged when we come and template.
In order for the prices to be kept as low as possible we do a lot of work ourselves. The materials we buy are already polished and cut at set lengths - we will manufacture the worktops on day of installation on location, therefore cutting out the middle man and at the same time keeping costs down. we offer a templating service but majority of the time we can work by measurement and do all the shaping on site when it comes to install - however if the kitchen is a peculiar shape or you have a certain design in mind and you would rather we looked at it before the materials are ordered we can have a team of fitters call to take measurements and template for your peace of mind.
We do not sub contract our work out, we are time served / professional stone masons who have a combined total of 20+ years experience working with the products. Therefore we are more than capable of cutting and polishing on site if needed. The only time we use the factories is to do any polished cut-outs for the under mount sinks.
Granite is formed naturally over millions of years and the only thing harder than granite is diamond therefore it is ideal to be used as kitchen worktops - it is near impossible to scratch, although we do recommend that nothing be dragged on the surface. The high quality finish of the granite means that the surface has a gloss finish almost mirror like, it is water resistant and difficult to stain - to maintain its appearance couldn't be more simple - the use of a damp cloth or the usual kitchen cleaner product will keep the granite looking immaculate for the lifetime of the kitchen.
